Renter Requirements & Restrictions

Requirements

Renter must be 25 years of age or older (no exceptions): Driver's license is required for proof of age.
Renter cannot rent for someone else. The person paying for and renting the boat must be present and be an active participant in boat rental session. We do not allow someone to pay for and rent a boat for another individual or party.
Renter/navigator must have boating experience: Anyone wishing to rent must have experience navigating similar size boats. Renter will be required to pass a basic boat safety/navigation test prior to rental. All renters are encouraged to take the FWC boating safety course from an approved provider and receive their boating safety card. Summer Breeze Boat Rental reserves the right to require a guest to pass a basic boating test if their skill level is questionable.

Restrictions

All guests must be 2 years of age or older.
No pets allowed.
Children under the age of 6 must wear a safety at all times while out on rental.
Tubing and wakeboarding are allowed but customers must rent and use Summer Breeze Boat Rental equipment only.
Boats are not allowed into the ocean.
All passengers must depart from English Landing Marina. it is forbidden to pick up additional passengers from other locations after the rental period has begun. All passengers must be accounted for at the marina and sign a liability waiver.

Summer Breeze Boat Rental reserves the right to change the boat that is reserved if necessary.

While we make every effort to accommodate our guests, we strictly abide by the schedule posted on our

schedule page which maximizes the availability of our boats. Please refrain from requesting appointment times that do not adhere to this schedule. By selecting a session and paying the rental fee, you are agreeing to one of our scheduled session times and the terms of our rental booking policy. Customers will be charged for fuel consumption after their rental. Payment is non-refundable. 24 hour notice is required in order to reschedule but is subject to availability as determined by Summer Breeze Boat Rental. 48 hour notice is required on holiday weekends which includes the Friday before and the Monday after the holiday. Payment will be forfeited if 24/48 hour notice is not given. Thank you.

Payment will be forfeited if 24/48 hour notice is not given. Cancellation, weather or otherwise is not permitted. Rentals impacted by a National Weather Service advisory will be allowed to reschedule to a new date without penalty. No refunds will be issued in the event of any weather related advisory.
